Fit:
The dress is overall very lightweight and airy, making it perfect for a summer or outdoor wedding. The skirt is excellent for twirling, btw! I love the double layered tulle with the lining.
The built-in bra provides added support and ensures a perfect fit. I love that the cups of the dress are actually structured and molded properly, so it still sits nicely on small-boobed girlies like me. I often struggle to fill out soft cups at the top as I don’t have much volume, so the cups often fall flat or fold over which is a fashion disaster LOL!
And, with AW Bridal’s free customization service, you can further tailor the dress to your specific preferences and ensure that it fits like a glove.
This piece was a custom sizing based on the measurements I gave them. If you aren’t sure about your size, I recommend opting for a custom sizing (it’s totally free!) to guarantee the best fit for your body. I would recommend giving them your measurements to ensure the best possible fit- this piece would not look as nice if the tulle does not fit exactly flush to your body, and the height of the bodice may not be as flattering.
Comfort:
Not only is the AW Janet wedding dress stunningly beautiful, but it’s also incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. The tulle was not itchy on my body, but you may experience some itching only at the cuffs of the sleeve due to the more structured fit.
The bustier area is padded well, with enough space for your boobs. You can also customise a larger cup with their custom fit service!
The corset details are not made up of stiff fishboning, so it’s very comfortable. The corset area is definitely still structured and not flimsy!
Value:
In terms of value, I feel that this dress is an excellent investment. The dress is priced $349.99, which is well under the price of a typical wedding dress ($1.5-5k). Even though this piece is more expensive compared to the AW Cirrus gown I reviewed previously, the delicate beading + sheer details understandably requires more workmanship and attention to detail. It’s still incredibly affordable and great for modern brides on a budget! Plus, shipping is $9 for regular shipping and $19 for express shipping?? What a steal!
I think for the price and factoring in the workmanship and beautiful details on this piece, this is really an excellent quality for the price. The beautiful design and attention to detail make it a standout choice for any bride looking for a unique and stunning gown.
Depending on the style of dress you order too, it can definitely still be used on other occasions. I love to be ✨extra✨ with my cottagecore content, so this beautiful gown is definitely coming out with me on a picnic date (or as often as I can)! It’s too pretty to gather dust in my closet!
